English as a Second Language (ESL)

Adult Education - School 2 offers English as a Second Language (ESL) classes that help students become proficient speaking, reading and writing English. ESL classes are offered at different levels ranging from beginning to advance. In class, teachers provide lessons to meet the needs of each student.  The classes are designed to help students learn English to achieve their personal and academic goals. When you attend our classes, you will be exposed to a variety of listening and speaking activities that build confidence and proficiency around everyday topics aligned with daily living, parenting, working, learning, and traveling. Additionally, we prepare advanced ESL students for the BEST Literacy Test by offering a variety of texts aimed at developing their reading comprehension, vocabulary, visual literacy (charts, graphs, maps, schedules), and the conventions of letter-writing.
